The turtle is the king of the fish clan. People of the fish clan were the teachers and scholars and often helped settle disputes between leaders and other clans. Turtles carry their home on their backs and symbolize peace of mind. They teach us to slow down and have a reputation to be adaptable to life changes.

Members of the Employment and Training Action Circle come together to share information that will enhance employment and training opportunities for Urban Aboriginal people. The circle has extensive involvement from employment agencies, and works in partnership with the North Superior Workforce Planning Board.
The circle has identified community needs such as improving access to skill-based training, job readiness, entrepreneurship programs and building relationships with employers who hire a diverse work force.
The circle works to identify barriers and gaps in Employment and Training for Urban Aboriginal People and to create awareness of the current and future Urban Aboriginal workforce with employers.
